Energy Business Models for Low-Income Markets
- Practitioners Workshop -
December 1-2, 2010, Berlin, Germany

For businesses the demand for energy in developing countries provides a huge, still untapped market. Many companies provide energy solutions that can improve the quality of life for billions of people at the base of the global income pyramid (BoP) and boost productivity. However, doing business in the slums and villages can be a challenge. The workshop "Energize the BoP - Energy business models for low-income markets" and the GTZ event "Energy Sector Dialogue" will support companies in learning to develop sustainable, profitable business models at the BoP
